Sorry guys I have unsubbed

You can find me in Star Wars: The Old Republic. F2P is actually very very good and I'm surprised at it.
I'm on the RP-PvE realm of Begeren Colony which has the biggest population and PvP is big on it regardless of the PvE style realm and my characters are "Kisel" (Pub Trooper) or "Wastegate" (Sith Jugg).

If you are wondering why then this review pretty much sums up how I feel.

The main fact is I can't level in PvP and am forced in to PvE which for me is complete BS. But that youtube review pretty much covers it. To me it's an average MMO at best.

Enjoy

Sorry to see you go Wastey :( Was looking forward to playing an mmo with you again.

I can understand some of your frustrations. I watched that review last night too (during maintenance.....and love Angry Joe!). I agreed with some of his points as well (although some I thought were a little unfair too...felt they were more issues with damn bots rather than the game. I'll be real glad when they get that sorted out).

I've been particularly bummed out about the lack of grouping opportunities in the game (especially since I love healing). My favourite parts are dungeons and I'm guessing pvp too (once I've levelled up enough so that I'm not taken out in 3 hits...I'm such a noob at pvp!). The lack of group content and the difficulties to actually group with friends to run quests or to be social and help out has been rather frustrating actually. I'm still enjoying it overall though (maybe it's just because I've been out of mmos for so long and I don't remember what I'm missing :P).

I might have to stop by SW:ToR and say hello :) Being such a Bioware fan, I probably should check it out!

I hope you enjoy swtor!

I was looking forward to playing with everyone again :( it's just that the game doesn't tick the boxes with me. Angry Joe is a classic and some of what he points out I know is not a fair assumption of the state of play. I can't justify paying $15/mth for something I'm not enjoying, especially when I love SW:ToR and it's free to play.

After being a subscriber in it and going cold on the game with the intro of F2P, coming back to it is very enjoyable and you can unlock the needed perks on your account or character by buying stuff off the auction house. I actually have some respect for how Bioware/EA have implemented it and if you plan it you can have all the features you need.

The MMO scene is nuts these days. I think any guild will have trouble pleasing what they focus on to play and holding things together.

On the radar for me is The Repopulation very Star Wars Galaxies like and it's SCI-FI which I like more than fantasy which I have been playing forever.
The crafting in that game will sure to get Leo to play it :P

Might see you SWTOR. Do you know if there are free character transfer? I think my leveled guy is still on the Aussie servers they used to have.

I am enjoying leveling 1-50 in ESO (when the damn game is not offline!).

So far I have found my PVP experience to be poor compared to GW2/WAR/SWTOR and definitely far worse that WoW. That alone means I won't be around after next 30 days.

I'm not a big fan of the zoning because it prevents me from leveling with others as they all too often go invisible. Also when you team up everything is piss easy and kind of pointless unless it's an instanced dungeon.

Hello guys and gals,

I miss you all but life in TKG is good. Like Secro mentioned, they have a core of players that will log almost every night. It is also a lot more social. Everyone is on TS most of the time. Sometimes, even I play a different game, it is nice to talk shite. In another threat, people wonder if they should join ... Well ... Flake is very strong about the social, on TS, active part ... if that is not your thing, it is not a good guild for you.

In terms of games, TESO is not perfect and there is a bit of noise in TKG as well. However, we'll hang it out for at least 3 months I reckon. The problem at the moment is that we can't find many fights in PvP. The map is always Yellow. People are also worried about the AOE cap which might drive to the GW2 blobs.

Mooney already quit and paid $150 to play Archeage ... He is trying to own the Strawberry market :D
That will most probable be the next game. However, it is 9 months away ...

I've had much more fun in the VR ranks questing. Feels much more like a traditional Elder Scrolls game but harder. Plus I can pvp after dinner!. In fact I'd have to say the quality of quests in ESO >= Skyrim, I just wish there were more solo big dungeon delves, Skyrm style and a player house.

I am one of those weirdoes that listens to the quests... rare in the MMO space.

Not weird I do as well. Hence why I like the lore in World of Warcraft and ToR. If you have read the books then it get interesting.
