This is an information post for people joining us in CoV who haven't played CoH.

To download the client early, go here:

The full download is about 2.5gb, so you may want to wait for the cd :)
(ex-CoH players, you can load up your CoH client and get the 1.6gb I6 patch)

The server SC plays on is JUSTICE. We are currently in the S.I.N.I.S.T.E.R super group.

Once you get in, there are a number of people you can contact using global handles. This is a cross-server, cross-character chat system tied to your account.

To talk to someone, type the following:
/t @<global name>, <message>

Note the "@" before the name is necessary when using global handles, and the "," after the name is important because you can have spaces in your name). The "quick response to a tell" key is backspace by default.

If someone is offline, it will leave a message for them to read when they next get on. You can also send a request to be global friends (they can be online or offline) using the following command:
/gfriend @<name>

mad doctor is your villain character name, your global chat handle is still doctor bionic. You can change it if you want (in the menu), but it's a once-off change.

Hmm I can't remember if I was @Nazz, @Nazza or @Nazzah. I'm sure I'll still be on a friends list somewhere. Went looking in EB for a copy yesterday but they're still all "coming soon". Still waiting on DSL but here's hoping it's connected in time.

In other news couldn't find Kirby's Canvas Curse or Advanced Wars DS either :(
