SOUTHERN CROSS KIN RAIDS 2012

At Southern Cross, we will be getting together daily for some regular raids.
Here is an example of the week:

Monday: (Free for suggestions)
Tuesday: 12 man Draigoch (mains run)
Wednesday: 12 man skirmishes (OT, skirmishes)

Thursday: 3,6-12 man instances
Friday: 12 man (alts run)

Saturday: (Free for suggestions)
Sunday: (Free for suggestions)

Conditions:
Forming group will start at 7pm to latest 8pm. If we don't have enough kinnies on by 8pm for 12man (i.e Draigoch) raid then pugging will continue.

If we still don't have enough pugs and running 12 man seems impossible then we will do the 6 man instance such as Roots of Fangorn, Foundry etc...

At SC we aim to treat everyone fairly. Let's get a roster for raids going guys and make our kin strong whilst having fun!

If anyone has any suggestions or creative ideas, let me know!

Sigh remember the good old days when we first made SC in LOTRO?

Speaking of which, did someone butcher Aels and hide her remains somewhere?

Thanks Fitz, Secro and Finnaros for your support. We need to communicate more, stay in touch using these forums and branch our connections to other players so we can learn and share ideas.

The other night i joined a relatively experienced group for an Orthanc raid. Most of these players knew each other pretty damn well ingame. To my disappointment, there were too many clash of opinions on the game strategy, some people did not follow the leader's orders, hence we wiped a few times. I also believe that the burden was on the leader(s) and the main tanks. Once their morale goes down, that's it - GAME OVER! The group could have showed more support for the leader by following correct instructions, and likewise for the leader, to show more compassion for the group. Being too harsh, or mean (patronising) doesn't get us anywhere.

My intention of starting our own kin raid is to build our knowledge and experiment on these particular raids. Yes, we will fail a dozen times, but without failure, one does not know how to improve. So to cap it off....

....I think we need to speak up, voice your thoughts, share our ideas and make the game worthwhile (and worth the investment $$$ ).

Anyway, that's me for today.

Emeraldereth.

Aels quit gaming so she could focus on her studies (she was going back to do Creative Writing and something else I believe). She was cool :(
Guild Wars2 - Beothel (Sylvari Ranger), Ailtrai (Human Engi))
SW:TOR - Beothel (Sith Marauder), Illusia (Chiss Sniper)
LoTRO - Beothel (Human Lore-Master)
WAR - Beothel (Chaos Marauder)

Miss the old days and the old crew. Sigh.

I still catch up with Aels from time to time, though haven't for a while due to work/uni/kidlet. Also Aldebrand and his mate who used to play LOTRO (and Galoras from time to time)!
