So...where is everyone?

Post by syromzxero » 05 Jun 2008, 08:14

logged on last night and saw nobody. I saw Eve log off, but didnt know you were on mate or i would have said hey. Im officially back now, so hopefully can get some runs or such going...fishing is fun for the first few seconds and Forochel seems boring unless im with someone.

Howdy Southern Cross peoples - Klaen from Ce Na Meldir, I just thought I wuld drop on by and let u guys know that we are looking at trying to kick off weekend Rift Raids - predominately Friday, Sat and maybe Sunday nights.

Feel free to drop on by to our website and give us a post if u r interested -

I tried applying to your other website but I got hit with an auto message telling me u guys were considering a merger...

Anyway, if there are any Southern Cross players who are keen to raid on weekend eve's (around 7.30pm - 1am Aussie EST) Then either send me an in-game mail/tell or drop us a line on our website - www.cenameldir.net

Cheers.

Oh - my partner and myself have level 50 LM, Minstrel and a Hunter if u guys need numbers for raids around these times.

Thanks for the invitation, Klaen. Personally have a couple more pieces I'd like to get (well, at least one more to make 4/6), so I might take you up on the offer.

Cheers

Ce Na Meldir are running an Inter-kinship Rift raid tonight (20th June),

7.30pm Aussie Eastern Standard Time I think there are only 1-2 spaces left. Sign up via our forums (in the Inter-kinship raid section).

www.cenameldir.net

At this stage we will be looking to run these raids every Friday night - so make sure you check in with our website at the beggining of each week if you are keen to come along - sign up!

We have a Venti server which we are happy for people to use during these raid times.

See you all online

Has this Kin died. As far as I can tell only 1 officer has been on in the last 30 days and there are many members who haven't been on in months. Who is actually running this Kin and at what point do people who never show up get booted?
Haven't seen a rift announcement since mid may and that one didn't happen.
And by thwe way who changed the forum set up. Just got used to the old one and now this clunky one.

Invert and the bulk of the kin are currently entombed in the Rift, there is a sword in a stone hidden somewhere in ME - reportedly in the depths of the Mines of Moria - that may well help them all rise again but until then the world is deathly quiet!

LOL Sil! Damn I miss the Rift these days...

But yeah, the vast majority of the guild moved to AOC when it released, however with all it's bugs etc, people may be moving back to LOTRO, WoW, or whatever other game they want to play.

SC in LOTRO is on a bit of a hiatus until Mines of Moria pretty much. A lot of people will come back when that is released I suspect, unless everyone moves over to WAR. Things are all pretty up in the air with all the new MMOs & MMO updates coming out atm & in the near future.

If you wish to continue raiding in LOTRO, I'd consider joining a more active kin if I were you. :)
AOC: Invert - Assassin // Level 54 // Server: Bloodspire
LOTRO: Invert - Dwarf Guardian // Level 50 // Server: Elendilmir
LOTRO: Invertz - Human Lore Master // Level 41 // Server: Elendilmir

I just haven't had time to play in the last month or so. I wanted to, but I have had other things to keep me busy (work, exams and socialising taking priority), and with the core of the guild moving on or drifting off, I just didn't feel the same enthusiasm about logging on I'm afraid :(

It's a bit of bummer that AOC didn't work out. I just picked it up today and I played my Herald of Xotli to level 8 on the PVP server. I was looking for officers to see if the guild was up to anything - I missed you by about 5 minutes Invert :D None of the other officers were on, which surprised me a bit because I was on for two hours from about 7 to 9. FWIW I've decided to reroll on the PVE server because apparently PVE players are enjoying Conan more - but enough of that :D

I think we all know what the deal was with Forochel. Lots of stuff to do solo, but no real instances. There may be more stuff coming out in the next update - and Moria is not far away (time moves so fast these days :D ). So with the new stuff in Book XIV plus the expansion, I'm sure we'll relaunch successfully at that point.
