Hi guys a blast from the early days of Southern Cross

Hey guys,

Poking my neck around the web I came across this:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/61739/

Can't believe those old forums posts are still alive after all this time :D I think that is really cool hey and brings back memories from the early days of Southern Cross playing D2, AO and UO 8) ....

Anyway, was just wondering if anyone is still around from those old days and what are you all playing nowadays?

Is Leo Armstrong still about?

Cheers all and safe travels!

Britan

Hey Brit!

I'm playing GW2 still with another guild.
Still have active raiders in WoW and a bunch of guys and girls playing LOTRO too.

Leo was last seen in guild wars 2 during December if I remember correctly!

I go back to those forums for a few laughs as well, good times :)

Great find. The old forums were awesome ...

Seeing the names bring back memories too ...

Holy, Sharez, Bioni, Spot, Sovaka, Nazz, etc ...

Some, have played with in more recent games, so others, it has been a while.

I joined Southern Cross in SWG ... BIGMAN !!!! I remember the name Britan as one of the veterans when I joined ...

Wow pre-WoW release chat

800k beta players.. thats just crazy :p To think so much talk back then was that wow would flop cause it was animated looked and not realistic. Actually kinda of a shame it didn't really :p

Hi guys, yeah I was amazed to find the old pages still existed! I sort of lost touch with SC when I went to EQ2 and most went in other directions, and then I switched around between games a fair bit .... Funny thing, I am just now thinking about getting back into EQ2 again after several years away, and will be nice to catch up again with some of the guys over at the SC2 EQ2 guild :-) We also still have several active wow accounts with charas on the frostwolf and frostmourne PVP servers, my three boys are pretty keen on WoW...

Be gool to bump into Leo again sometime - he was the original founder of SC way way back when it was a D2 guild and we were waiting for D2 to be released....

Cheers all!

Hey Nazz how's it going?

I'm still kicking around hey :-) Looking at getitng back into EQ2 and still follow the SC forums over at the EQ2 site, my name there is mattyhack. We have some wow charas on frostmourne my main is annasoul (lock) ....

Hope all the old SC guys from the early days are still doing well. Say hello to Leo for me if you guys ever cross paths and tell him I said "safe travels" lol ... I have alot of nostalgia for Leo and his forums because his they were really the first game forums I got involved with apart from war2 crowd at OZWL (aussie warcraft league) way way way back when ... wonder if anyone else remembers OZWL - I still remember playing my first MP game ever and getting smashed .... a harsh introduction to the reality of being a noob!!!!

hey mate, just thought I'd let you know the SC WOW chapter has recently moved to Frostmourne Alliance from Blackrock and is doing quite well. Let me know if you and your mates need/want a ginvite.

I could so easily fall back in to WoW. I miss Southern Cross and seeing old SC players make me happy.

Great to here that things are doing well guild wise.

Wastey :D
