District 9

Post by Fellhahn » 14 Aug 2009, 00:00

Is a very good film that I would give top marks.

Anyone who enjoys Sci-Fi/modern war films/even pseudo-expose's like "Constant Gardener" should take the time to see it.

The story is, imo, unique and quite unlike any other major motion picture I've seen.

While the story may seem odd at first, it is probably the most realistic take on what would happen if a ship with ~1 million+ aliens did turn up on our doorstep one day.

Discussion, go.

Yes it's good.

Possibly best sci-fi I've seen in a couple of years.

GI Joe - 2hrs of advertising.

yes this film is awesome.

I didn't know bugger all about it going in, and was very surprised by its quality. More like the good sci-fi films of the 80s/90s than most of the stuff they make these days. Yet it still manages to fit in plenty of awesome effects action too :)
