really SLI and crossfire are both easy to setup. 2, 3 or 4 cards in most situations they just plug straight in - the problem as you suggested above is additional power requirements and also heat management - if ur on a budget and don't want to have to worry about those things then just put the money into a decent single gpu. If you want to run a second monitor most current cards will handle it quite well or you can also look at the option of SLI/crossfire with an onboard chipset which will allow an independant output to a second monitor, both AMD and nVidia are making chipsets capable of this now and for quite reasonable money.Demandread wrote:and SLI?
