If you don't waste money on crafting thats not so hard.

I dropped 30-40k on my crafting trainer recently .. still sitting over 100k at 36

do we see crafting making much money in the long term? Most MMO's have failed miserably recently in keeping crafting relevant beyond a month or two of someone hitting the top of their craft.

I only see crafting as a stat boost. I just hope there's something unique in it that you can't have without having the craft maxed.

what do you mean craftng as a stat boost ?
no crew skills increase stats, or give any ingame bonuses ?

the gear that crafters make does, specially the purples, that you cant find on npc venders.

i'm thinking the "upgrades" will be the main sellers, as i'm now focused on getting orange gear, and just upgrading the mods in it. leaves all the non orange loot drops for RE and vender sale.

Each trade, apart from Armsmith, have unique BoP items that hopefully end up being close to best in slot. I'm not the sort to look too deeply into these things.

I didn't investigate the armoursmith, do they get an BOP mods or just an armour?

And we can only hope they improve the crafting game long term.

We can only hope they improve the game long term.. they can't dump it down any further. Its already dumb dum de-dumb for the masses.

True, they can't really dumb it down more :P

No i don't believe armoursmith do mods at all, just medium and heavy armour for non-force users.
