Reserving this spot for details, so I can edit as I go.

ENCHANTING LEVEL 35

I can make glyphs up to item level V1-v8.

Thanks to Cat and Aels and Forath and everyone else that has been supplying glyphs. Without you all this crafting profession would be almost impossible to level. It is the Hardest of the lot.Only 5 levels to go to max the skill at 40.

ALCHEMY LEVEL 50 Can make up to v5 ranked potions. (SKILL MAXED)

NOTE: The level of the potion is determined by the level of the WATER BOTTLE used so the higher the stats you want the better the bottle you will need to send me.

Clear Water = level 10 potion
Pristine Water = level 20 potion
Cleansed Water = level 30 potion
Purified Water = level 50 potion
Cloud Mist = Veteran Rank 5 Potion

Here is a link to a list of triple plant potions like +Health + Stamina and + magika all in one pation.

Link to list is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1895369911

If you just want Health Potions such as (Restore x Health immediately and an additional x Health over 10 seconds) the Plants needed are ANY TWO of the following.

Blue Entoloma
Bugloss
Columbine
Luminous Russula
Mountain Flower
Water Hyacinth

Example of this potion: Cleansed Water + two of the above = Potion Of Health 233 Health immediately + another 160 over 10 seconds.

If you just want Magika Potions such as (Restore x Magika immediately and an additional x Magika over 10 seconds)the Plants needed are ANY TWO of the following.

Bugloss
Columbine
Cornflower
Lady's Smock

Example of this potion: Cleansed Water + Cornflower + Lady's Smock = Potion Of Spell Power +10 to Spell Power for 10 seconds and 233 Magica immediately + another 160 over 10 seconds.

Best TWO PLANT COMBO potion is (Restore x Health immediately and an additional x Health over 10 seconds AND Restore x Magika immediately and an additional x Magika over 10 seconds (30 second cooldown)

This combo potion needs 1 Bugloss and 1 Columbine per potion.

given the 64ish days it takes to research 1 item to 8traits
and 8/9 items to make a full set.. that's >64 research jobs over 64^2 days.

so put me down for bows (and shield once I have a skill point spare for researching 2 jobs)
and medium chest, arms and legs armour.

edit:
as at 12 may 2014
bow
researching last one now, cant remember what it is

medium
5 traits most ,some 6

light 5 traits all

provisioning caped, no purple recepies

enchanting 23ish

alk 20ish

metal: working on 1h sword, nfi where its at, possibly researching on multiple toons..

heavy: random bits when no swords available

Fitz, do you want to split smithing so that we can research traits faster? Eg, I take legs, gloves, shoulders and you take helm, chest, belt and boots and then swap after we've finished researching the traits? If we get something we've already researched, we could send it to the other to try help get the traited gear we need to research quicker.

Hmm

I will probably focus on 1H Weapons
Daggers and Sword primary

Armours, I'm just basically filling in some usefull looking traist first, can focus on wherever a gap is. Would probably focus on a Light vs medium armour (seeing its competing time)

Primary Char is Pots, and I have provisioning up tot he wazu now.

Do you find that you're getting extra skill points or exp from crafting?
It's been a few weeks and I only just found the research tab...

If you mean skill points that you could apply to your weapons skills or class skills the answer is no.

When you gain a level in crafting all it does is,,, nothing.

Apart from maybe an unlock to the next crafting tier but then you have to put a skill point you go from levelling you toon through normal exp or shards into it.

I have found research gives some crafting exp so it may be worth it to research every item at 5 hours then move on to 11 hours rather than take on a 7 day research which will not give you crafting exp for 7 days and will lock on of your research slots from veing used for 7 days,

Woot, got put a skill point into 3x Regeants potions.

So for example
Do a columbine, lady smock and moutain flower
the level 30 pot = 233 Health/mag/Stamin immediate and 160 of each over 10 seconds.

I need to got flower picking again, I'm down on flowers to try out combos, want to see if I can score 4

My main (Silyth) is doing Blacksmithing (Lvl 25), Woodworking (Lvl 21), Alchemy (Lvl 19 - this is on hold for now) and Provisioning (Lvl 50). My crafting has been a bit haphazard to date but I'll be trying to concentrate on the traits below in the future.
Blacksmithing:
I will be concentrating on 1 Hand Sword, then Chest, Helm and Shoulder (in that order) with regard to getting traits. So far I have the following traits:
Weapon:
1H Sword: Powered, Charged, Precise, Sharpened & Weighted.
Greatsword: Precise.
Maul: Infused.
Battle Axe: Precise.
Axe: Powered & Sharpened.
Dagger: Powered, Precise (Researching), Sharpened & Weighted.
Apparel:
Cuirass: Impenetrable.
Sabatons: Impenetrable & Reinforced.
Gauntlets: Impenetrable & Divines.
Helm: Impenetrable & Reinforced.
Greaves: Impenetrable.
Pauldron: Infused (researching).
Girdle: Impenetrable & Divines.

Woodworking:
Primarily focused on Shields, once that's complete I'll move onto Bows probably.
Weapon:
Bow: Precise.
Frost Staff: Defending.
Lightning Staff: Infused & Defending.
Fire Staff: Defending.
Apparel:
Shield: Sturdy, Impenetrable, Reinforced, Training, Infused (Researching) & Divines.

I have an alt that is doing Cloth and is currently Lvl 18, primary focus there will be Medium grade gear.
LOTRO - Elendilmir : The Secret World : Guild Wars 2 - IoJ : WoW - Dath'Remar : DDO - Khyber : AoC - Bloodspire : WAR - Ironclaw
Silyth - Lvl 85 Warden : Silurin Maelhach - Lvl 70 Champion : Falyme - Chaos/AR : Falyme - Warrior : Falyme - Lvl 70 Undead Rogue : Rajeal - Lvl 9 Bard / 2 Rogue : Dralion - Lvl 74 Tempest of Set : Skelm - Lvl 28 Disciple of Khaine

I feel the same... nicely done Leo! ...very impressive.

On another note: Hi everybody, I finally made it to the forums. Nice to meet some of you 'outgame' (a neologism, Aels :P), and ingame again as well, at least at times when the difference in timezones will allow some overlap in playtime (mostly at the weekends it seems). Now, when most of us are finally hitting vet ranks, it would be fun to do some of the vet group dungeons or adventure zones together...
