1. About You

Please state your

1.1 First Name / Age / Location:
A: Robert / 33 / Tasmania, Australia

1.2 Usual Playtimes:
A: Evenings

1.3 Do you know anyone in SC? (Online or in Real Life)
A: Wolfie who has recently applied and been accepted

1.4 How did you hear about SC?
A: Through Wolfie

1.5 Are you applying to SC to Raid/PvP or Socialize? Or a combination? Please specify your intentions and also your goals in Guild Wars 2 as a whole
A: Being a father of 5 and full time Uni student I am most definitely a casual player. My main aim is to socialise. I have not done a lot of PvP in past MMOs but am really keen to give it a shot in GW2

1.6 What other MMOs have you played? (feel free to go into detail)
A: Shadowbane, Horizons, EQ2, WoW, WAR, Rift, AoC, Vanguard, SW:ToR....thats all I can remember atm

1.7 Any other information you feel comfortable sharing, the more we know about you the more it helps us with our decision! (optional)
A: I am a mature casual gamer. I play MMOs to have fun and chat with other people, not to make a nuisance of myself.

2. About Your Characters

2.1 List your character(s) Name / Profession / Race / Level
A: To start with I will have a Human Elementalist, Norn Guardian and a Mesmer (unsure of race)

2.2 What guilds have you been in? (This doesn't have to be specific to GW2)
A: Blood and Ashes was the main guild I played on in Rift

3. PvP

3.1 What are your achievements of note in PvP? (high rank / Arena rating / etc)
A: Nothing worth noting

3.2 Have you experienced PVP in a large scale environment, ie, Warhammer Online / Aion / Rift?
A: I started getting into the large scale PvP in WAR but never got right into it

4. Other Stuff

4.1 Do you have any achievements relavent to your application you'd wish us to note?
A: I have managed to stay married throughout all of my MMO gaming career. This certainly has to be recognised.

4.2 What do you hope to get out of Southern Cross? Why do you think you would make a valuable member?
A: Mature gamer who is there for fun. I go out of my way to help guild members and am always active in chat.

Hi Cub, thanks for applying! Just looking for clarification on how you would define casual, an estimate of how many evenings or hours a week would be great.

I asked a popular writer who often wrote about freedom and free markets and asked him what he thought would be the True symbol of 'freedom'.
He answered succinctly:

"Whatever is the opposite of surrender"

Sure, not a problem. I will be playing most nights of the week. a couple hours per night. When I say casual player I basically mean family comes first. Due to having a young family I find it hard to commit to raids etc and can go AFK at any time to help the family.

Awesome, family first is something a lot of us can relate to and understand. Welcome to Southern Cross!
