Yeah the Witch Doctor was interesting, probably a good class to play when drunk. Barb/Wiz for me though.
Sucks not having LAN play available, almost lost my hardcore character through a massive lag spike and thats on the easiest act/difficulty of the game

I'll probably start off with a Demon Hunter I think, just cuz I know a couple of friends will probably go Barb. Not that it matters, I just want to have a mixed group

No idea what spec ill end with untill ive tried all the skill but there are a couple of interesting options i have looked at:
Heavy DPS monk, increases damage done and recieved by a lot:

Would need to switch between 3 generators and alternate between heals and a dps finisher
Dodgy Monk!:

Put up sweeping wind and then pull enemies into you with cyclone strike and then dodge like hell for the mantra rune proc
I like all the synergies you can create...just have nfi if they will be effective
