Re: WoW Beaten.

Does he feel hollow inside now?

If I tried to 'complete' LOTRO I'd go nuts, let alone a monstrosity like WOW.

Re: Windows 7

Went from 32-bit vista to 64-bit Windows 7 yesterday. Bought retail home premium at Hardly Normal.

Very happy with the result (I had three niggling long-term technical glitches in LOTRO - all better post upgrade!)

Re: Royal Character Rumble - Round 2, Pool 8

I think combined with elemental and force damage, Optimus has enough artillery to bring Gumby down. There's no question about this in my mind.

Gaming is good for your eyesight.

It's official - see: http://www.theage.com.au/news/digital-life/games/articles/shootem-up-video-games-sharpen-vision/2009/03/30/1238261492709.html So don't let anyone tell you otherwise :D Although the eyesight improvements primarily come with action games, I would say that in a MMORPG raid tho ther...

Re: Returning to lotro and I've usurped the usurper!

But that’s not all. Challenges are now introduced into our 6 end-game instances. Each instance will have an optional objective inside of it that, if achieved, will offer the players a piece of their first tier of the raid set. Each objective will be different, and it will be up to you to discover t...

Re: MoM Launch Announced

Hey, Vyl. Is the gathering of relics/levelling the legendary weapon reliant on raids/groups, or can it be solo'd? Cheers Its quite a soloable process Basically you get item xp to level the legendary weapon every time you kill a mob - and you can also get item xp as quest rewards. There are also spe...

Re: MoM Launch Announced

I've been playing Moria for a while now (Yeah NDA was lifted) You guys are in for a treat. The legendary weapons are awesome - they start off pretty wussy, but adding relics, levelling them up and reforging, is a helluva lot of fun, gives you something to work on while you're questing and farming. T...

Re: Rhianwynn, The Usurper

Awesome Rhian Glad you took the initiative, as our new leader you have my full support. I'm going to be logging on some evenings this week, and in coming weeks as well. Unfortunately, my time is going to be divided until Moria launches (not by another MMORPG, though). One thing I've learned with MMO...

Well, the raids aren't in Book 14... but I'm sure they're saving up something special for the expansion.

Informative Mines Of Moria Preview on Gamespy

Check this out folks - a lot of info in here I didn't know about, or had only seen hints of: m Bit that had me drooling: "Legendary items are a really exciting part of Mines of Moria," Steefel said. "The idea is to have the player's own weapon become a quest hub." More prosaicall...

Re: So...where is everyone?

I just haven't had time to play in the last month or so. I wanted to, but I have had other things to keep me busy (work, exams and socialising taking priority), and with the core of the guild moving on or drifting off, I just didn't feel the same enthusiasm about logging on I'm afraid It's a bit of ...
