one thing to keep in mind with a water cooled system is the pump, it will make noise, depending on how cheap you go it may even be noisier than fans, think of a fishtank pump running constantly inside your pc, ive seen people try to dampen the vibrations with pieces of foam sponge etc mounted under the pump, not sure how effective it is tho.

the pumps only 24.5dB so about the same as a 120mm fan. Should be a lot quieter than my current gfx card

Playing around with water cooling sounds cool in theory.

These days with the advanced heat pipe coolers around, water cooling doesn't offer that much advantage over heat pipes.

i want a water cooling system that's a fan-pinwheel rotated via falling water. i think this would look awesome.
unfortunately i don't think it would be capable of 100 rpm :(

alternatively, i wouldn't mind a case that doubles as both cooling and a freezer.

although, this is also pretty cool. http://www.envador.com/cases/InvisiblePC/
